Guest lecture by Prof. Jun Murai (Professor at Keio University)
As a part of the Visionary Lecture Series, Suzuki Innovation Centre (SIC) invited Prof. Jun Murai (Professor, Keio University, Distinguished Professor at IIT Hyderabad) to deliver his lecture “Innovation by the Internet") at IIT Hyderabad. Prof. Murai is the leading pioneer to bring the Internet to Japan in the 1980s, and made a substantial contribution to the Internet's widespread adoption worldwide. His lecture covered Internet history, and the future perspective. The lecture was very interactive with several questions from the audience about the most important Internet applications, the solutions to Digital Divide, and other topics.
